Stress Management

There are countless articles online regarding the subject of Stress Management. And frankly most of them are weak and inaccurate. They tout false sources for stress and deliver ineffective “solutions”.

Stress is the result of unhandled pressure either from environmental factors or internal factors. “Internal” meaning inside of you: emotional or mental strain. That seems too simple but if it was handled then you wouldn’t feel the stress.

Stress management can only be achieved when one knows the source of the stress and the correct technology to handle that source.

For example: The stress caused by a broken down car will only be relieved if one knows what to do to bring the situation under control and can actually do what needs to be done.

The same applies in life when one is feeling stressed out. One must isolate what is causing the stress and handle it. Just knowing for certain the true source of the stress will bring about a tremendous relief.

The trouble is that most of what we believe to be the “source” of our stress are really only generalities or guesses. And that being true, the stress does not diminish at all.

I have personally observed people talking about the stress in their lives become more and more agitated as they talk about “why they are stressed”. It wasn’t true because if they had spotted the true source it would have been a relief. Like finding your lost keys or your misplaced credit card.

I have found a lot of very helpful data in the writings of L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of the Scientology religion. He spent many years researching the very factors that cause stress and anxiety in all of us. His research and findings and most importantly his techniques for the solutions to these problems are available to everyone through the many books that he authored and his many recorded lectures.

I personally highly recommend taking a look at the works of Mr. Hubbard. You can study his materials on your own, at your own pace, in your own home, at your leisure.
